Who we are
FitCult is an online fitness coaching platform operated by FITCULTINC GLOBAL PTY LTD (ACN 701 468 322, ABN 15 701 468 322), Sydney, Australia. This policy explains what information the FitCult app collects, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect
Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes.
Profile details you choose to add: phone, height, date of birth, sex, activity level and units.
Health and fitness information you log, or that your coach records for you: workouts and sets, meals and nutrition, body weight and measurements, weekly progress photos, goals and habits.
Pre-exercise screening: your answers to the safety questionnaire completed at sign-up, including injuries, medications and health flags. This is sensitive information. We only collect it with your consent, so your coach can train you safely.
Messages between you and your coach inside the app.
How we use it
To run your coaching. Your coach sees your logs, measurements, photos, screening answers and messages so they can build and adjust your program.
To operate and improve the app, and to keep your account secure.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for third-party advertising.
Where it lives
Your data is stored with Supabase in Sydney, Australia. The app is served by Vercel. Progress photos live in private storage that only you and your coach can access.
Food search: when you search for a food, the search text is sent to the Open Food Facts database to find matches. Nothing about you is sent with it.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Profile, then Delete account. This permanently removes your account, logs, measurements, photos, screening answers and messages. It cannot be undone.
You can also email us and we will delete it for you.
Your rights
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. You can ask us to access or correct your information at any time. If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
